3. University of Turku

One of the most renowned technical universities in Finland, LUT University is located at the shores of Saimaa, the fourth largest lake in Europe. 6. University of Oulu

The University of Oulu is one of the larger public Universities in Finland, established in 1958. There are 16000 students enrolled in the University of Oulu, and the staff is of 3000 members. 7. Tampere University

Tampere University is the latest merger between two of the most significant Universities in the city of Tampere. As a result of a merger between the Tampere University of Technology and the University of Tampere, the University was recently established in January 2019. 8. University of Eastern Finland

Another University which is the result of a merger, The University of Eastern Finland was established in 2010 as a merger between Universities of the University of Joensuu and the University of Kuopio. The Universities had close co-operations even before the merger, and the campuses for the University of Eastern Finland still have their campuses in both the cities. 9. Abo Akademi University

The Abo Akademi University is the only exclusive Swedish University in Finland, However, the University offers a number of English-taught courses for international students. Finland Universities Admission for International Students:

International students can apply to Top Universities in Finland on the Studyinfo.fi website for both Universities of Applied Sciences and Traditional Universities. There is a joint application option, where students can apply to up to six study programs at different Universities, and a separate application option where one can apply to each program specifically. The joint application asks the student to set a priority for the programs which cannot be changed later.

 

The most common application deadline for English-taught Universities at top Universities in Finland is 25th January, and all the required documents should be submitted before 8th February. It is advisable to check the University requirements and application process with the Universities you are applying to first.

 

Finland University Fees:

The Universities in Finland for Finnish and EU students are tuition-free. International students are required to pay the fees, the minimum amount set by the government in Finland is 1500 euros a year.
